🔄 MatchZy Fixes & Patches

  • Practice Mode: Players who have used the .spec command can now switch to the CT or T side using .ct or .t without restrictions. We've also added the .nobreak alias for the .breakrestore command.
  • Team Name Updates: The commands .ctname and .tname now allow for dynamic "Team Name" changes during ongoing matches without interruptions.
  • Minor Error Fixes: Addressed small issues affecting game consistency and plugin execution.

🔌 New Self-Made Plugin: !nextmap

  • Admins can now set the next map via the !nextmap command, dynamically changing the map scheduled at the end of a match.
    • Example: !nextmap inferno sets the server to load Inferno when the match concludes.
    • Integrated with the scoreboard countdown for smooth map transitions.

🚀 New Features

Config Change Requests for RetakesAllocator & MultiAddonManager

  • Users can now request configuration changes on the RetakesAllocator directly for their own CS2 servers. And MultiAddonManager, allowing for easy customization of specific plugins or any other server-dependent requirements.

MatchZy Practice Mode Enhancement

  • Implemented .breakrestore command for smoother practice sessions, allowing player to quickly reset its state (props, particles, etc)

Note: The .breakrestore command is implemented using game signature detection and will only require updates if Valve's game updates modify the underlying data structure.

🛠️ Technical Fixes

MatchZy Warmup Optimization:

  • Updated warmup.cfg to enforce competitive integrity during warmup phases by properly restricting grenade access, trajectory displays, and grenade-cam features

Big Update - You Asked, We Delivered!

✏️ Changes

  • MatchZy has been revamped, and we’re making some important changes to how .CFG files are handled.
    • From now on, each server will have its own dedicated .CFG file for MatchZy.

What does this mean for you? This change allows us to take customization requests based on your preferences. Want to tweak something? Let us know!

For example, you can now request:

  • Chat Prefix changes
  • Changes to live.cfg, knife.cfg or scrim.cfg
  • Modifications to config.cfg, like enabling practice mode to autostart by default

We’re excited to bring you these enhancements and look forward to your requests!

If your CS2 server hasn't been automatically restarted, you will need to restart it manually for these changes to take effect.

Free/Pro CS2 - Map Commands & Improvements

  • The !map command now accepts uppercase letters, which previously caused crashes on our free CS2 servers. (e.g., !map DE_DUST2 or similar map names).
  • fake_rcon changelevel/map automatically detects both de_dust2 and DE_DUST2, ensuring map changes occur seamlessly without crashing the free CS2 servers.
  • We've made some minor adjustments to MatchZy on our Pro servers.

Pro CS2 - MatchZy Improvements & Demo Recording Fixes

This update delivers impactful improvements and fixes to elevate your experience!

✏️ Changes

MatchZy & MapChange

  • The system now detects !map commands and delays tv_stoprecord during map changes.
  • This helps prevent server crashes, especially if your match isn’t fully completed.
  • Warmup configurations now launch seamlessly when a !map command is used.
  • This eliminates issues that previously interrupted pre-game setups.

We're actively working on enabling the use of commands like !mapname (e.g., !dust2, !nuke, !mirage, etc.) for a more streamlined experience.

However, this feature won’t be available in the current update. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue using !map dust2, !map mirage, and similar commands as a temporary workaround while your Match/Scrim is started.

🐛 Bug Fixes

DemoURL to Discord

  • We’ve fixed an issue with the MapChange plugin and CSTV2Discord that was causing duplicate URLs to be sent to Discord channels. (confirmed through local testing)

  • The demo recording message (DemoStartMessage) will now be displayed only after the .match goes LIVE. This change ensures a cleaner experience, applicable exclusively for .match setups.
  • Team intros (controlled by mp_team_intro_time) will no longer play during knife rounds, ensuring a quicker and more focused start to these pivotal initial rounds.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Resolved a potential issue where the default knife round could inadvertently be disabled when transitioning from .scrim to .match (where knife rounds are typically enabled by default). This update ensures that knife rounds are now reliably enforced for matches, providing a seamless and consistent experience.

  • Added a new message for the !prac command on servers with "Bots disabled," which can now be addressed using .bot, .nobots or .tbot
  • Admins now automatically receive a message with available commands upon their first connection.
  • Introduced a 10-second delay for KnifeRound and MatchStart initiation (this does not apply to .scrim and .hill modes).

  • The .knife command now toggles the kniferound on/off directly. The .rk on/off command is no longer required, simplifying usage. You can now use .knife, .rk, or .kr.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the warmup phase would not execute if a server was loaded in match mode by default (instead of Practice Mode).
