CS2 Demo Retention Change

Effective Date: 31st May 2026

From 31st May, we're reducing how long your CS2 demos are kept from 14 days to 7 days. After this date, any demo older than 7 days will be automatically deleted. If you have older demos you'd like to keep, download them before 31st May.

Why we're changing it

We're purely just optimising our storage based on usage patterns. CS2 is a large-size game to start with, plus every demo and workshop map stored takes more and more NVMe SSD space. Depending on location, our costs for dedicated servers change a lot, and the specs do too. Some providers limit storage per plan; we don't.
